Our sales, after sales and service teams are in daily contact with our customers giving the best possible support from project planning phase, during building and delivery period and further on during the guarantee and operation lifetime of the vessels remaining in Turkish Fleet.
We are looking for a team member for our LOGISTICS department, who will be in charge of Logistics operations of spare parts & equipment sales.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, Administrative Sciences or a related field
- 1- 2 years of experience in international trading operations: documentation, payment, and delivery terms, (INCOTERMS) in international trade and logistics transactions, preferably in the maritime industry
- Good command of English both in speaking & writing
- Excellent knowledge of Ms Office Applications, especially MS Excel
- Proactive, initiative taker and have strong business tracking skills
- Ability to work with different teams under time pressure and a good problem solve
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Logistics operations of the realized contracts; follow up of all documentation of related LCs,
- Bargaining with the shipping agents or other service providers in order to minimize logistics costs,
- Coordination of logistics according to contract conditions, with factories, suppliers, customers and/or warehouses,
- Organizing customs and inspection transactions,
- Dealing with the customers for any operational concerns when needed.
- Checking the quality and quantity of products entering the warehouse, identifying damaged or missing products.
- Packaging and labeling the products to be sent to customers or other departments and making them ready for shipment.
