MISSION:
Contribute to the economic result of the group of product families on his/her market by:
• Being the owner and expert of the product category, to manage and drive the business through adapting and applying the international product strategy for the Groupe SEB brands on his/her market with financial responsibility
• Define the product strategy for his product family on his/her market in line with BU’s orientation.
• Maximize ROPA by designing and implementing product and go-to-market strategy plans in his/her market under Groupe guidelines, and looking into new business/product opportunities
• Secure a tight cooperation between sales and marketing functions to jointly drive the business
• Manage and develop the brand values of the Groupe’s brands
CONTEXT:
• The rise of digital technologies in the purchasing process of consumers and in the valuation of the distribution offer. New definition of the consumer buying route with key role of a multi-channel strategy.
• Competition composed of strong, very active and specialized brands on universes / price brackets => keep a perfect level of information and analysis of the competitive activity vs a multi-brand and multi-universe Groupe SEB portfolio
• Rapid evolution of distribution channels with the emergence of new channels (e-commerce / drive) and fierce competition between off and on line resulting in requests for exclusive offers and customers habits. A customer management with significant complexity.
• Groupe SEB is investing on new business models including partnerships, clubs, global solutions (machines, consumables, services) and promotional activations (highlights, TG Flex, loyalty ..).
MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB:
• P/L responsible for the category (sales, cons. margin, ATL/BTL)
• Be the “expert” of the category
• Understand consumer insights, market trends, shopper behaviour and run adequate SWOT analysis
• Define and implement product roadmap and brand strategy in his/her market based on international guidelines in relation with the Marketing Manager
• Define and manage assortment (permanent + promo + channel management + customer exclusive) and pricing (RSP/NSP) together with Innovation Team, Business Units, and Continent Marketing
• Monitor competitive activities & pricing strategies closely and develop promotion plans in collaboration with RGM.
• Follow up SKU based weekly/monthly sell-in/sell-out/stock coverage and inventory turnover.
• Analyse market data, identify growth pockets, need gaps in the short & long term
• SKU management by optimizing the assortment with phase-in/phase-out plans
• Monitor product e-reputation with adequate feedback to BU
• Manage product launches, prepare GTM strategy together with distribution plan and build the selling story for use by KAMs
• Provide marketing launch package incl. PR for new product launches using Continent/Groupe material when available
• Develop overall marketing strategies, and define key communication using international guidelines when available
• Localize central content (activation booklet) for all sales and marketing teams, create missing product & category content locally, only when necessary and by exception
• Support to KAMs on building assortment/promo plan with key customers, and participate in meetings when appropriate
• Drive category management projects with Continent Marketing and local KAMs

MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED:
Education : Marketing Master or equivalent degree
Experience :5 years’ experience as Category/Product Manager within preferably consumer goods industry, small domestic appliances, FMCG or retail marketing
Language : Fluent English
Other : Excellent skills in Microsoft office packages; in particular Excel and Powerpoint
